Terms of Use
Last updated: July 17, 2026
1. What TokLiveRecorder is
TokLiveRecorder is a desktop application for Windows and macOS that records livestreams and application windows to local video files on the user's own computer, plus this website. By downloading the app or using the site you agree to these terms.
2. Acceptable use — this part matters
The app is built for lawful recording: archiving your own broadcasts, recording channels you manage, and capturing streams you have the right or permission to record (compliance records, client work, authorized archiving, personal reference).
You agree not to use TokLiveRecorder to:
- republish, redistribute or monetize someone else's content without their permission;
- infringe any person's copyright, privacy or publicity rights;
- violate applicable laws or the terms of the platforms you record from;
- record or distribute content involving minors inappropriately or any unlawful content.
You are solely responsible for what you record and what you do with the recordings.
3. Not affiliated with any platform
TokLiveRecorder is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by TikTok/ByteDance, Twitch, Kick, YouTube/Google or X Corp. Platform names are used only to describe compatibility.
4. License and subscriptions
The free version may be used for personal, non-exclusive purposes. Paid subscriptions unlock additional features for as long as the subscription is active. You may not reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the software.
5. No warranty
The software and site are provided "as is". Platforms change constantly and we cannot guarantee every stream can be recorded. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost recordings, lost profits or any indirect damages.
6. DMCA and takedowns
We respect intellectual-property rights. Notices concerning this website should go to legal@tokliverecorder.com. Note that recordings made with the app exist only on users' own computers — we host no user recordings.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
