How the limits work
Recording length
A live that runs past your plan's per-recording limit does not fail. The recording stops cleanly at the limit and the MP4 stays valid and downloadable — you keep everything captured up to that point.
Daily recordings and monthly hours
Free accounts can start 2 cloud recordings a day, and auto-recordings of their one creator count toward the same 2; the counter resets at midnight UTC. Paid plans include a monthly allowance of recording hours instead, which resets each billing month. A recording only counts once it actually starts capturing a live — if a creator turns out to be offline or the link can't be recorded, it costs nothing.
Auto-record
Free accounts can auto-record one creator when they go live. The first creator you pick stays locked to your free account; to auto-record other creators, upgrade to Pro (up to 5) or Studio (up to 20). Free auto-recordings follow the free limits — up to 20 minutes each, counted toward your 2 recordings a day.
How long we keep your files
Cloud recordings sit in private storage for 3 days on Free, 7 days on Pro and 30 days on Studio, then get deleted automatically. Download the MP4 inside that window and the file is yours permanently, with no expiry and no DRM.

How much does TokLiveRecorder cost?
You can try it free: sign in with Google or email and record up to 2 lives a day, 20 minutes each, plus auto-record for 1 creator. Pro costs $79 a year (or $9.99 a month) and Studio costs $159 a year (or $19.99 a month) for longer recordings, more monthly hours and auto-record for up to 5 or 20 creators. Prices are in US dollars; applicable taxes may be added at checkout.
What counts toward my monthly hours?
Only the time actually recorded. If a creator turns out to be offline or a recording fails before capturing anything, it does not use your hours. Hours reset at the start of each billing month and unused hours do not roll over.
What happens when a live runs longer than my plan allows?
The recording stops cleanly at your plan’s per-recording limit (20 minutes on Free, 3 hours on Pro, 6 hours on Studio) and the MP4 stays valid and downloadable — you keep everything captured up to that point.
Can I auto-record on the free plan?
Yes, for one creator. Free accounts can auto-record one creator when they go live; that first creator stays locked to your account. Free auto-recordings follow the free limits (up to 20 minutes each, counted toward your 2 recordings a day). To auto-record other creators, upgrade to Pro (up to 5) or Studio (up to 20).
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. When you cancel, you keep your paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again.
Do you offer refunds?

How long are cloud recordings kept?

Payments are handled securely by our payment partner Waffo on a hosted checkout page. We never see or store your full card details.
